During the existence of the USSR, one of the largest factories for the production of artistic porcelain products was built by M.V. It was the Lomonosov/Leningrad Porcelain Factory named after Lomonosov (LFZ). Even before the 1917 revolution, this factory was the leading porcelain enterprise in the Russian Empire and was therefore called the Imperial Porcelain Factory.
